Role of Danou Pty Ltd

Danou Pty Ltd manufactures products offered on this platform and manages fulfilment, shipping, and delivery to customers. Products are designed and branded by independent vendors. Vendor branding does not affect Danou Pty Ltd’s manufacturing and fulfilment responsibilities under applicable consumer law.

1. Scope & Definitions:

  • Stock Products (Ready‑to‑Wear): Pre‑manufactured items in inventory, ready for dispatch without customization.
  • Made‑to‑Order / Custom Products: Items produced or tailor‑made only once an order is placed; includes personalised sizing, bespoke design elements, custom fabrics, or measurements.
  • Customer: End consumer purchasing via vendor’s connected social or marketplace storefronts with transaction handled through Danou Pty Ltd.

2. Processing & Production Time-frames:

Stock Products (Ready‑to‑Wear):

  • Orders are processed by Danou Pty Ltd within 3–7 business days after order confirmation, unless otherwise stated on the product page.
  • Transit/shipping time: Domestic 3–5 business days; International 7–14 business days.

Made‑to‑Order / Custom Products:

  • Production & delivery lead time (Domestic): 14–18 business days.
  • Production & delivery lead time (International): 18–22 business days.
  • These estimates include both production and shipping, unless otherwise stated.
  • Any deviations (e.g., special fabrics, customizations requiring longer timelines) must be disclosed on the product page.
  • All time-frames are estimates only and are not guarantees.

3. Shipping Methods, Carriers & Tracking:

Shipping methods and carriers are selected and managed by Danou Pty Ltd, unless a specific vendor requirement is disclosed on the product page.

Standard Shipping:

  • Carrier: [e.g., Local Post, Courier A]
  • Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days (domestic) / 10–20 business days (international)
  • Ideal for regular orders with no rush

Expedited / Express Shipping:

  • Carrier: [e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS]
  • Estimated delivery: 3–5 business days (domestic) / 5–10 business days (international)
  • Recommended for urgent deliveries

Local / Priority Shipping (if applicable):

Tracking:

  • All shipments receive a tracking number once dispatched.
  • Customers will be notified via email with tracking details and a link to the carrier’s tracking portal.
  • Order status can also be checked by logging into your account on our website.
  • If you do not receive a tracking email within 3 business days of dispatch, contact admin@dakutx.com.
  • Danou Pty Ltd provides tracking and delivery support as part of its fulfilment control role.

Shipping Notes:

  • Delivery times begin from the date of dispatch, not order placement
  • Some items may ship separately, which can affect delivery time
  • Customers are responsible for providing correct shipping information

4. Shipping Costs, Duties, & Taxes:

Shipping & handling costs are calculated at checkout. Customers are responsible for duties, import taxes, and customs charges, unless explicitly stated as included.
For Made‑to‑Order, extra shipping surcharges may apply due to special packaging or handling.

5. Change of Address / Failed Deliveries:
Customers must provide accurate shipping addresses. If an address error causes failure, re‑delivery or rerouting costs may be charged to the customer. If a package is un-deliverable and returned, customer is responsible for return shipping unless vendor error.

6. Transit Risk & Insurance:

Risk transfers to the Customer once the item is dispatched by Danou Pty Ltd to the carrier, subject to applicable consumer law. If customer opts into 'leave without signature' options, risk of loss or theft post‑delivery is borne by the customer.

7. International Shipping & Restrictions:
Vendors must comply with export/import laws for destination countries. Customers are responsible for local import duties or restrictions. Regulatory restrictions or regional carrier limitations may delay or prevent delivery.

8. Delay, Force Majeure & Notices:
Danou Pty Ltd is not liable for delays due to customs, weather/natural events, carrier issues, pandemics, or other force majeure events. Danou Pty Ltd will notify customers of any delays beyond the estimated time-frame where reasonably practicable.

9. Change of Mind Policy (Stock Products Only):
If a vendor offers change of mind returns/exchanges, the policy must be clearly stated on the product page. Customer must initiate return within the vendor‑specified window (commonly 7–14 days). Items must be unused, with tags, in original packaging. Customer typically pays return shipping unless otherwise stated. Danou Pty Ltd facilitates returns in accordance with the vendor’s disclosed policy.

10. No Change of Mind for Made‑to‑Order:
For Made‑to‑Order / Custom products, change of mind, size exchanges (unless vendor error), or style changes are not permitted once the order is placed. This must be disclosed clearly on the product page and at checkout.

11. Packaging & Sustainability:
Products should be packaged securely to protect in transit. Luxury packaging (boxes, dust bags) should be used when applicable. Vendors encouraged to use eco‑friendly, sustainable packaging.

12. Customer Assistance & Support:
All shipping questions or issues should go through the Support Hub. Vendors must respond to queries within 48 hours.

13. Dispute & Refund Policy for Lost, Damaged, or Misdelivered Items:

If a shipment is lost or arrives damaged, customers must notify the Support Hub with supporting evidence. Danou Pty Ltd must investigate and where appropriate refund or replace, depending on vendor policy. If insured, Danou Pty Ltd should initiate insurance claim. Danou Pty Ltd may coordinate investigations and determine the appropriate resolution in accordance with platform policy and applicable law.

14. Legal Compliance:
Vendors must comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and equivalent laws globally. Policies must not override statutory consumer guarantees.
