DAKUTX is a platform. Depending on the product, your order may be fulfilled by DAKUTX, the brand, or an approved production partner. Your confirmation email will always show the seller/fulfilment pathway.

Production is undertaken through DAKUTX’s approved manufacturing network, with core production currently based in China. Your confirmation email will show the fulfilment pathway for your order.

Yes. DAKUTX only partners with approved brands and authorised makers. We do not allow “grey market” sourcing.

Both. Some pieces are ready-to-wear (in-stock), while others are made-to-order or produced on-demand. The product page will clearly state which applies.

We aim for high accuracy. However, minor variations can occur due to lighting, screen settings, fabric batches, and made-to-order production (especially for natural fibres).

Sometimes. If an item is made-to-order or can be reproduced, you may see it return. For limited editions, once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Your item is produced after you place your order. This allows premium make, better allocation, and access to broader styles/variants.

Standard production is typically 7–10 business days from final order approval and payment, plus delivery time. Australian and New Zealand orders will generally target approximately 14 business days overall; international timing varies by destination and is generally longer. Timing can vary by product, customisation, production capacity, public holidays, freight and customs.

Made-to-order and customised pieces are usually final sale, except where required by law or if the item is faulty/not as described. This is standard across luxury made-to-order categories.

Only before production begins. Once production starts, changes may not be possible.

If a garment is produced incorrectly or materially outside the confirmed order specifications, DAKUTX will work to correct the issue, including remake where appropriate. Issues arising from incorrect measurements supplied, subsequent measurement changes or preference changes may incur additional charges. Nothing in this policy limits rights available under applicable consumer law.

Production against demand reduces reliance on speculative finished-goods inventory and the risk of unsold stock. DAKUTX only makes environmental claims it can evidence, and does not currently publish environmental impact metrics.

Traditional fashion relies on forecast-led production, bulk inventory and markdowns to clear what does not sell. DAKUTX supports demand-driven production, so pieces are made against orders rather than forecasts.

When you purchase through DAKUTX, your piece is made against your order through DAKUTX’s approved production network.

Yes, once your order ships.

Delays can happen due to customs clearance, peak periods, or weather. If tracking stalls, contact us and we’ll escalate with the carrier.

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you cannot locate it, check any safe-drop location, reception, household members or neighbours and contact DAKUTX promptly with your order number. We will assist with a carrier trace and determine the appropriate next step based on the circumstances. Nothing in this process limits rights available under applicable consumer law.

You’ll see your checkout currency clearly before you pay. If your bank converts currencies, they may apply their own rate/fees.

If the order hasn’t entered production or shipped, we’ll do our best. For made-to-order/custom items, changes may not be possible once production begins.
