Returns and Consumer Guarantees

If you believe there is a problem with a product, contact the legal seller shown in your transaction records promptly.
Provide the order number, a clear description of the issue, relevant photographs where appropriate and the remedy you are seeking.

Australian Consumer Law:
Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. A made-to-order, custom, final-sale or measurement-related label does not remove those guarantees.
The available remedy depends on the facts, including whether the problem is major or minor.

Examples of issues that may require assessment:
- A manufacturing fault or defect.
- A product that is unsafe.
- A product that is materially not as described or materially different from an approved sample.
- A product that is not fit for a disclosed purpose in circumstances where the relevant guarantee applies.
- A service associated with the order that did not use due care and skill. Change of mind
Change-of-mind returns are a separate commercial policy. If a properly described made-to-order product is not eligible for change-of-mind return, that position should be disclosed before payment. A change-of-mind limitation does not restrict any statutory remedy for a genuine fault or other non-excludable problem.

Measurements and fit:
If the customer provides incorrect measurements or changes a requested fit after approval, DAKUTX can explain the available commercial options before any paid remake or alteration. That does not remove a statutory remedy where the product is faulty, inaccurately described or a service failed to use due care and skill.

Assessment and return process:
The seller may ask for reasonable information needed to assess the issue and will explain whether the product needs to be returned or inspected. Return transport, repair, replacement, refund or other costs will be handled according to the applicable law and the facts of the claim. The process should not impose a condition that unlawfully prevents a customer from exercising a non-excludable right.

Consumer rights prevail:
Nothing in this page, a product description, a made-to-order label or another DAKUTX policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
