DAKUTX manages design development, production and fulfilment, so you can focus on creative direction, brand narrative and audience growth.
Made to order
Production runs against orders. Standard production is typically 7–10 business days from final order approval and payment, plus delivery time. Producing against demand reduces reliance on speculative finished-goods inventory and the risk of unsold stock.

How it started
Our story.
DAKUTX is founded and led by Daniel Avakian, one of Australia’s leading fashion designers. He trained in Florence, worked in London under Alexander McQueen and Giles Deacon, and has run his own label out of Sydney since 2007.
Two decades of running that label hit the same wall every season, and the wall was the minimum order. So he spent several years building the production system underneath it.
Daniel and his team of pattern engineers and production managers work with DAKUTX’s approved production partners. Brand and marketing people work alongside the labels who want that.

Before you ask
How it helps you launch
We design the collection with you, or work to a specification you already hold, with each piece made once it sells. There is no minimum order on eligible products, and no bulk buy upfront. Setup, development and samples are quoted separately.
How it differs from a factory
A factory needs a minimum run before it will switch its line. Here production is triggered by the order, so the collection you show is the one you actually wanted.
What support you get
Design, pattern engineering and production run as one operation, with brand and marketing offered alongside production.
Where it is made
Production is undertaken through DAKUTX's approved manufacturing network, with core production currently based in China.
